Speech and language therapy

I am an experienced speech and language therapist who has worked with children and young people since qualifying from University College London with a BSc (Hons) degree in Speech Sciences in 1998.

My clinical skills and experience have been gained through working within the NHS, a children’s charity specialising in children’s speech, language and communication difficulties and independent practice. I have worked in nurseries, pre-schools, primary schools, secondary schools (including a specialist secondary language resource) and special schools.

I offer a combination of assessment and therapy for children with a wide range of speech, language and communication difficulties including support and training for those involved in their development. I run tailor made training courses for INSET in schools.

I can provide therapy in your home, in the clinic room in my home in Sedlescombe, East Sussex or in your child’s early years setting or school. I cover East Sussex and West Kent including Rye, Hastings, Bexhill, Eastbourne, Battle, Heathfield, Wadhurst, Tunbridge Wells and their surrounding areas.

I am a registered member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, the Health Professions Council and the Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice (ASLTIP).

• Speech sounds, including verbal dyspraxia
