About Rachael

Rachael is an experienced Speech and Language Therapist who has worked with children and young people since qualifying from University College London with a BSc (Hons) degree in Speech Sciences in 1998.

Her clinical skills and experience have been gained through working within the NHS and a major children's charity specialising in children's speech and language difficulties. She has a special interest in young children with specific language difficulties.

As part of her work with the charity Rachael has worked in partnership with local authorities at a strategic level, supporting the setting up of Early Years provisions with a real speech and language focus. This role has also involved being part of the development of accreditation packages and training materials ranging up to post graduate level as well as providing specialist advisory support.

Rachael lives in East Sussex with her husband and two young children.

She is a registered member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, the Health Professions Council and the Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice (ASLTIP).
